Hey Guys,

I've completed a bunch of new cards for use with Sharpe Practice, including some new ones which i've created - Bavarian blinds and big man cards, Westphalian Blinds and Big Man cards and a 'Stuck In The Mud' card, to play the same role as the siesta card if your battle is taking place in a damper climate! Thanks goes to Roly Hermans, i used his excellent cards as a base and for inspiration.
I'll post these to the files section on the Yahoo Group - in better format than below - apologies for the jpeg artifacts.

Edit: These are in the main files directory on the yahoo group, two seperate word files. 'Ansbachdragoners Blinds' etc

Ansbachdragoner,

These look great. I downloaded them from the Yahoo group but they are marked as Read Only so I can't them. Can you post files that can be edited or is there something I can do to the ones you have posted already. Thanks in advance

Paul

Very nicely done. I particularly like the Tiffin one ... very atmospheric.

Oh, excellent work ... and just when I had completed a set of bonus cards as well (the difference being mine don't have a picture, but instead the wording of what each card means). I like yours better.

Ansbachdragoner -- very nice cards!

I might suggest that you add the nationality onto the Big Man cards. Right now they're color coded to match the Blind (which has the nationality stated on it), but it would make things easier to remember when the card comes up. Also, I have a friend who's color blind, so color-matching won't work for him with some colors. (And we're not smart enough to know the nationality by the uniform...yet.)

Here is my attempt at a cover card for the Bonus Deck.

I've got some Polish Troops in my army so developed this card for Polish Grasp the Nettle cards. I used an online translator to come up with the Polish. Don't ask me how to pronounce it.

They are just splendid. They look even better in shiny plastic wallets. Thanks!

Roly/Arteis -- is it possible to have you create a page with just Big Man cards? The current page has one Big Man card each for British and French and two Blinds cards. If I need 5 Big Man cards, I have to print the page 5 times and get 5 Blinds cards.

Thanks

Chuck

But those blinds cards are just so darn attractive! You can glue them onto the cover of your rules. Or onto your army carrier boxes. Or paste them around a knitting needle to make large marker flags for each side of the table. Or make badges out of them for players to wear on their T-shirts. Or ... well, the possible uses are endless !-)

But seriously, if I get a chance, I'll see what I can do! I've got to remember how I did the original set, though, and where I stored the latest files (I'm hopelessly disorganised on my computer!).

No bother. I did it myself. Only four to a page -- I tried to fit nine but my printer crops off the bottom.

BTW -- thanks for creating the original cards. They look great! I'm taking full credit at tomorrow's game. ;-)
